Who We Are
Born out of hope and resilience, the Bodoland Development Foundation (BDF) was established on 16 August 2021 as a Section 8 Company under the Companies Act 2013. It was founded by a group of like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds, united by a vision—“A self-reliant, sustainable and dignified society.”

Drug Abuse Awareness
Organized drug abuse awareness programs in 100 schools and 25 colleges throughout the Bodoland Territorial Region of Assam to educate and empower youths, teachers and parents.

Media Literacy
Conducted a media literacy program on responsible media consumption and digital awareness in collaboration with the Department of Information and Public Relations, BTC.

DRE Enabled Livelihood Solutions
Project implemented in partnership with SELCO Foundation, Reshma Sutra, Katidhan, RuKart Technologies and other development partners in Udalguri district of BTR, Assam.

Orange Cultivation
Provided training on orange farming techniques, disease prevention, and productivity enhancement in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).
